Moиöcням
(pronounce Mono Chrome)

A band of future retro futurists. Dystopian androids whom have embarked on a last hope mission to abandon the "Orwellian" computerized world of sterile electronic culture and music. Heading for a new frontier. Disenchanted by the armies of drone humans, who's facial features are only recognized by the digitized Eschaton, and no longer by friends. The endangered human populace whom have been fooled into looking at computer screens rather than other human beings. Spending more time downloading, than dancing.

Working for a better tomorrow, with the tools and methods of the past. Moиöcням command analog synthesizer and retro rhythm machines to bring the funkiness of human nature back to their listening audience, as a reminder of what it is to live, be free and to be funky.

We Are Elektron: Spotlight: Moиöcням

weareelektron:

Skweee, the mutant funk. Ultra-minimal, bare bones and impossibly catchy. Northern Europe has long been center of this scene, but thanks to the output of Moиöcням and friends, the city of Portland might just be the new skweee hot spot.

How do you combine analog and digital gear? What…
